Stitch Key (US terminology)

ch = chain
hsc = herringbone single crochet
hsc blo = herringbone single crochet back loop only
whdc = wide half double crochet
whdc2tog = wide half double crochet two stitches together
sc = single crochet
slst = slip stitch
sp = space
st = stitch
sts = stitches

Notes

You will start by making two panels, front and back, then sew the shoulders together. The sleeves and pockets will be worked directly onto the panels. Next, you will sew the sides of the body, pockets, and sleeves together. Finally, you will complete the piece with a round of single crochet around the neckline.

In this pattern, turning chains will NOT count as the first stitch.
