The Mod Square Bucket Hat is an easy bucket hat to work, the body of which is made up of seven easy motifs! Just as I previously worked the Garden Bucket Hat Crochet Pattern, this bucket hat is worked using two strands of a 100% cotton yarn held together and worked with at the same time. This makes the hat quite a bit thicker giving it more shape and stability.

Skill Level: Easy

Gauge: 14 sc x 16 rows = 4 inches

Finished Size: Diameter at bottom of hat: Approximately 11.5 inches across, circumference of bucket opening: 23 inches to fit an adult head.

Yarn: Pima Cotton by Lion Brand® (186 yds/170 m; 100g/3.5 oz; 100% cotton; (4) worsted weight). You will need 2 balls Vintage (Colour A), 1 ball Pewter (Colour B) Note: you will be working with two strands of the same colour yarn held together. When working my hat I found it easiest to work with two separate balls meaning you would need to double the above amount although not all will be needed.
Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm) hook.
