Blankets are one of my favourite things to make, baby blankets are just that much special. This is a modern pattern for a crochet blanket that will look amazing on any nursery.
The pattern is described as advanced beginner only we use the bpdc and fpdc, if you are ensure on how to do them you could always simply make dc. They are only used at the border.

Note: All my patterns are written in American crochet standards.

Size:
This is quite generous baby blanket, 53 inches (134 cm) long by 33 inches (83 cm) wide

Material and Notions:
Any worsted weight yarn will do, I used a super soft acrylic yarn from Action, a very similar yarn is StyleCraft Aran
Hook size H (5 mm)
Tapestry needle (for weaving ends and sewing)
