Modern Fairytale was inspired by a friend and her long-time love affair with her now-husband and the series of books she has written to tell that story. Knitting plays an important role in all of the Modern Fairytale books, and this shawl represents the knitting in Book 3: Texas Transformation as well as the two wonderful people who are the stars of the story. It’s a simple bottom-up crescent, shaped by short rows after a scalloped, lace edge and directions are available for three sizes: S, M, L (76 x 8.25, 84.5 x 11.5, 95 x 14.5in/190 x 20.5, 211.5 x 29, 237.5 x 36.5cm).

A two-color option is also available: you will need 1 skein for the edge lace and 2, 2, 4 skeins for the body of the shawl.

Sample is Medium size shown on a petite model with wide shoulders and relatively long arms.
