Pattern Notes
Modern Nature is a join as you go garter stitch shawl or scarf. Elongated triangles, achieved with short rows, create a generous wingspan without excessive depth. Start by knitting one triangle, then pick up stitches to knit a second triangle to form the bottom tip. Other than at the edges, triangles are worked as pairs that together form a mitred rectangle. A simple intarsia twist creates a clean shade change, with garter ridges of adjacent triangles running perpendicular to one another.
