Border:
I then continued around the blanket using the “Lime” yarn making 2 rounds of Moss/Linen stitch, making SC, chain 2, SC for the corners. Then around 2 more times using two different accent colors. Then again, 2 more times using “Lime”.
The next round working only in the chain 1 spaces, DC in chain 1 space. Chain 1. Skip next stitch. all around, making DC, chain 3, DC in the chain 2 corners.
Then another round of Moss/Linen stitch, with SC, chain 3, SC in the chain 3 corners.
Then another round of Moss/Linen stitch, with SC, chain 2, SC in the chain 3 corners.
Then the last round of Moss/Linen stitch, with SC, chain 2, SC in the chain 2 corners was made using a contrasting color.
Upon this base of border the I did the following Rick Rack Border.
“RICK RACK BORDER”.
Working on a foundation of Moss/Linen Stitch. Its SS, DC, SS worked in chain 1 space. Skip next stitch. SS in next chain 1 space. SS in next stitch. SS, DC, SS in next chain 1 space. Continue all around, making 2 SS, DC, 2 SS in EACH CORNER.
SS = Slip Stitch.
