Moebius Sequence Cowl
This gorgeous snuggly cowl is my second after reading a copy of Cecelia Campochiaro’s beautiful book on Sequence Knitting. The cowl uses the sequence shown on page 257 and uses two skeins of super chunky yarn. It is knitted outwards from a moebius cast on in one continuous row. A variegated yarn will look fabulous with the rich texture of this knit.
The blocked piece as knitted measured 40cm/16in deep by 30cm/12in wide, however the final size will vary according to your own choice of yarn and needle, as well as knitting tension. The pattern can be easily adapted for other weights of yarns – this is just a recipe to start from.
Requirements:
10mm/US 15 circular needles
Wool needle to darn in ends
200g or 140m/153yd of super chunky yarn. 2 skeins of Shepherdess (no longer available) used here
