I have kits and yarn for this pattern in stock in my shop:
Three Birds Yarn Studio

The ‘Mohair Magic Slouch’ is all about showcasing mohair yarn. The simple texture in the pattern really allows the color in the mohair to shine. My favorite part about this project is pairing the two yarns together. Mohair has the ability to completely transform the look of the sock yarn. I love watching the two yarns create a brand-new color as a I work through the project. It’s just like magic!

This is a relatively quick project that calls for just one skein of each yarn. The pattern is easily adapted for sizing modifications. I have added modification notes in the pattern to help with changes.

Gauge
With US 4 (3.5mm) needles and both yarns:
11 sts and 16 rows make a 2” (5cm) square in stockinette stitch, worked in the round, unblocked

Materials
158 yards (36g/144m) of sock weight yarn, I used Malabrigo Sock in Plomo
156 yards (17g/134m) of mohair, I used Malabrigo Mohair in Talisman
both yardage quantities should be very close since
the two yarns are held together.
