Mohair Pixie with Ties
You will need a skein of DK / light worsted mohair or any fuzzy yarn.
You can make the bonnet with any yarn as long as it matches the gauge. I prefer the look of this with fuzzier yarns – like mohair. Just make sure you get the right gauge!
gauge: 19st in 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch
It is an advanced beginner/beginner friendly knitting pattern that includes 5 sizes: newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months.
if you are not sure about your knitting skills, you can always message me and ask for help :)
i believe all the stitch details and every aspect of how to make this bonnet is described in detail in my PDF pattern - it has photos of every step!
you can use either long straight single pointed needles, or any circular needles. also you will need a darning needle to weave in the yarn ends.
no knitting in the round - all is knit flat! no sewing!
