I have worked up two sizes of this pattern. The infant size will not fit a newborn, but appx 6mos+. The Toddler size fit my 2 1/2 year old, but still fits him at 6yo.
I have also worked up the toddler size in an even bulkier yarn to fit an adult.

I suggest in the pattern adding a mohawk, but I have also done this with dino spikes and eyes, bear ears, and a plethora of other cute embellishments
