The “MOLLY” hat - Bright and sassy!

Knit in the round in simple stockinette, the bright flowers are knit separately and sewn on later. The loopy topper is created by wrapping the yarn around your fingers and through the top of the hat.

THE BASICS

• Pattern includes 6 sizes: Newborn / 3-6 mos / 6-12 mos / Toddler / Child / Adult

• Pattern is written in ENGLISH and uses standard U.S. knitting terms

• Instructions are for knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles

• Knitting skill level - INTERMEDIATE

• Gauge: 20 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm)

SUPPLIES YOU’LL NEED

• Approx. 90 to 180 yds (82 to 165 m) DK weight yarn for hat depending on size made

• Several yds (m) fingering weight yarn for each flower

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) 12” (for 3 smallest sizes) or 16” circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 1 (2.25 mm) straight needles

• Stitch markers

• Yarn needle
