Monday morning I received a package quite strange delivered by owl.

Yes, you read that right “delivered by owl” ! In the package, covered in brown paper and tied up with string, I found a brand new magic wand and a hand knitted hat accompanied by the following note :

Dear Louise, Would you please keep this package that I reserve to Mr. Weasley for Christmas. He’s getting more and more curious over the years. He’s impossible, I think he discovered all my hiding places!

I answered Mrs. Weasley that I would retain her package with great pleasure and I took the opportunity to compliment her about the beautiful hat she knitted.

Yesterday evening when I went back home, another package, smaller this time, was waiting for me at the doorstep. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a little notebook in which Mrs. Weasley had noted the instructions for knitting what she called “Warm hat for de-gnoming the garden.”

I got from her permission to share this pattern with “muggle “ who would like to knit this asesome hat. So grab your magic wand and get ready to cast-on!
