This pattern came to being after many failed attempts to create a poncho that was flattering, washable, and well suited for the pregnant and nursing mom. I was pregnant with my second baby when I wrote it, and I was so inspired by the encouragement I got every time I wore the poncho, I decided to make the pattern available to knitters everywhere! But, anyone who wants to wear a poncho would find this a lovely addition to their wardrobe!
