Momentum Shawl
This shawl is made of a combination of Linked Double Crochet (LDC) and simple Mesh Stitch. I love linked stitches because they create a very solid fabric without the usual gaps seen with standard, ‘unlinked’ stitches. Also, you can use a much larger hook for the weight of thread/yarn you’re using - such as is done with this shawl - and it still creates a solid fabric that is also much thinner (lighter and better drape) than would be I made of the same standard stitches.
Pattern includes instructions and pics on completing linked double crochets:)
