When I was a little girl, my mom made me an apron out of a potholder, a dish towel, and some ribbon. It wasn’t fancy, but you better believe I felt important when I put that little apron on to help my mom in the kitchen.

Make your little girl feel pretty and important with this beginner apron pattern! It is worked entirely in sc and dc, so with these basic stitches, you can create a lovely apron. Work it in cotton so it absorbs spills, and toss it in the washer with the rest of your laundry when it’s dirty!

While this pattern is a part of the 2016 Beginner Series from Sunshine Charlotte Designs, the border can pose a challenge. Therefore, I’ve included 3 pages of reference photos, in case you get lost. Now, pick out your little girl’s favorite colors and make her a surprise she can wear when you work in the kitchen together. Even if you’re just popping Spaghettios in the microwave!
