My mom was an avid crocheter. Most of my memories of her include yarn or thread. I have the last afghan that she made before she got sick. I think it’s 25-30 years old at this writing. I’m not sure if this was her own design, or if it was worked from a pattern, but I knew I had to recreate this at least once. This pattern is what I was able to figure out, short of taking it apart, which I don’t want to do.

The 1st photo is her original, and the 2nd photo is my recreation.

9/24/2021 - Updated so that the ends aren’t wider. I think that was a mistake on the original attempt. ;-)
