This pattern was inspired by my mother. She loved to decorate with apples all over the house, all year-round. Then when Christmas would come and the tree and wreaths would get put up, the combination of her year round decorations and Christmas decorations would make the whole house suddenly explode with a warm Christmas-y feeling that as a kid I looked forward to every year. Now that I have a home of my own, I want to create that same feeling with how I decorate. I designed these little apples to hang on my tree as a delightful combination of my mother’s and my decorating personalities.
