“Mon Amour” is a crescent shaped shawl. The French braid lace border is knitted sideways. Stitches for the textured body of the shawl are later picked up along the edge of the lace. The gauge is not essential, but it will affect the finished size of the shawl. Any sport weight, fingering or lace yarn would be ideal for this project. The pattern was created for knitters of intermediate skill level.
