Monbijou
This pattern is part of the eBook “Berlin - wrapped in Red”, the result of a collaboration between Steffi Palm & Marion Bulin, owners of Yarn over Berlin, and their fabulous and creative friends. The eBook is part of the Malabrigo Freelance pattern project and features several Malabrigo yarns used for ten red patterns named after Berlin´s districts, rivers or sights.
Monbijou is a pretty little park next to Museum Island in the heart of Berlin. There are plenty of trees and flowers and it’s especially pretty in the winter. I’ve had many a snowball fight there. This scarf is exactly what I needed during those snowball fights. Monbijou is a short brioche stitch ruffle scarf. Knit in 3 seamless sections – you can make it shorter or longer depending on your neck and how much yarn you have or how many times you want to wrap it around you.
