Monday Meander Hat
I love cable patterns that balance complex textures with straightforward, easy-to-memorize knitting. I wanted a hat project that was soothing, satisfying, and still held my interest -- the perfect companion for a slow start to the week. And of course, I love a good pom-pom finish.
The Monday Meander Hat is a cabled hat pattern that knits up quickly in DK-weight yarn. Cable crosses are worked only ever four rows, so it’s a relatively speedy knit despite the satisfying texture. It is worked seamlessly in the round, from the bottom up.
This pattern has been test-knit.
Yarn:
Sample is knit using Western Sky Knits Willow DK, which is a plied superwash merino yarn. Any plied wool yarn in DK weight will work well as a substitute.
