GAUGE

21 stitches and 24 rows = 10 cm (4 in) using size US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after washing and blocking.
If your kniiting gauge is differnet:

  • if you have more stitches, use larger needles
  • if you have less stitches, use smaller needles If you have a different gauge of the number of rows, then focus on the height in centimeters (inches). If any part turns out to be shorter, you can always increase its size by adding rows of stockinette stitches. Just remember, if you have increased the number of rows on the back, you need to increase the number of rows on the front in equal numbers.

MATERIALS

Needles. Circular needles №4.5 (US 7) and №3 (US 2)
Yarn. The amount of yarn depends on the length of the cardigan and size. Minimum amount of yarn 500-650g.
The types of yarns that can be used for knitting are as follows:

  • Drops Karisma 100% wool (50g/100m) – original yarn
  • Drops Air 65% alpaca, 28% polyamide, 7% wool (50g/150m)
  • Alize Alpaca Royal 30% alpaca, 15% wool, 55% acrylic (100g/250 m) Buttons 20-22 mm. For a long cardigan, you need 5 buttons, for a short cardigan, the number of buttons may be less. Stitch markers 5
