With great elegance, the hot air balloon is floating on the horizon. It seems to be so light and free, it travels without any rush. I feel inspired to wander through our beautiful world, peacefully and full of curiosity…

These shorts are part of a two-piece summer set, along with a cropped sweater. This set is perfect for summer days and nights and is both cute and very comfortable. Wear the shorts for city strolls, drinks with friends, a hike in the mountains, while travelling or for morning yoga outside… The versatility of this project is amazing!

Each leg is worked separately, knitted flat, with a slight increase on the sides for sizes M and up for hips. There are no decreases to fit waist in order to further emphasize the relaxed fit. Tubular cast-on and bind-off will create a very neat edging for 1x1 rib stitch - for tutorials, click here on the link below.

The two pieces will be seamed together. Then, to complete the shorts, a waistband is worked in rounds and will hold the drawstring.
