SKEINO’s Monica Backpack is knit on US-8 needles with our Monica Yarn. This cute backpack is the perfect accessory for all your summertime adventures. A generous 11.5” tall by 7”, it is big enough to hold your wallet, keys, phone, and water bottle easily. The oversized pompom weighs down the flap without the need for a button, and the drawstrings keep everything safe inside.

Knit from our soft Monica bulky weight yarn, this project knits up quickly. The Backpack is knit in the round, with I-cord straps, and a braided drawstring. The basic project is a great easy project.

There is an optional double-knit reinforced bottom, this technique is better suited to an intermediate knitter who is comfortable on double points.
