The Monica Geller Tee was inspired by a little white knitted pullover that Monica was wearing on season 1 of Friends (the episode called The One With The Ick Factor). I fell in love with the simple cropped pullover with short, set-in sleeves and wanted to create a similar pullover. I think this tee is the perfect everyday knitted garment for the warmer seasons and it also works well layered with a chunky cardigan for the colder ones!

The Monica Geller Tee is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up. It is knitted in the round until the armholes, after which the front and the back are knitted separately. The shoulders are joined with a Three Needle Bind Off. The sleeves are worked seamlessly by picking up stitches around the armholes and shaping the sleeve caps with short rows. Lastly, stitches are picked up from the neck edge and worked in the round. The neckband is then folded double and seamed (the only seam in the pullover!) All techniques are explained in the pattern.

The pullover is knitted using fingering weight yarn. The yarn I used - Einrum E+2 is a woolly and quite rustic yarn, so if you are substituting it for something else, choose yarns that are on the heavier fingering side rather than light fingering.
