Monica Pullover
Introduction:
The Monica Pullover is an excellent confident beginner pattern that includes instructions for various ways of customization. It is designed to be oversized, breathable (because of the loose gauge and cotton yarn). There are 5 ways in which you can make the Monica Pullover your own: Body Length, i-Cord vs. Ribbing, Collar, Sleeve Length, and Color blocking.
It is worked bottom up in the round, then separated into the front and back. Each shoulder is then worked one at a time and joined at the end with a three needle bind off. The stitches for the sleeves are picked up and then you knit in the round! It is a very quick, relaxing knit that you can wear at the beach or out to dinner. :) Again, it is extremely customizable, with 5 different ways to make it your own - you’ll want to make more than one!
