MONICA Scarf/Cowl has classic simplicity to its overall Garter Stitch design. This is easy knitting.. by just changing the colors, it creates a wonderful migration from one color to the next. This is also a good project for a knitter who is just beginning to knit. The scarf is knitted lengthwise and the yarn changes are easy. The unused yarn can be carried on the side without cutting.

The yarn is very soft, because the merino fibers are only 19.5 micron thick and the special treatment makes the scarf machine washable. The wonderful squishy scarf can be worn in many different ways. If you prefer a cowl over a scarf, just join & knit in the round. The Garter Stitch requires that you knit one round and purl one round. Otherwise the yarn changes are the same.
