Monisto
Monisto plays with surfaces and also gets its name from mathematics: monisto is Finnish for manifold. Moebius cast on enables working the cowl from the center outwards. There is no right or wrong side, as the same round continues towards both edges from the middle. The cowl is worked in two-color brioche and the pattern is achieved with simple increases and decreases. However, the increases and decreases change the direction of the brioche columns, and the Moebius cast on makes both the dark and light sides visible. Moebius cast on makes this cowl interesting to knit and Italian bind off gives it a stylish finishing.
