Materials and tools.
◦ For the monitor lizard are used Alize Cotton Gold Hobby 180 yards (165 meters)/50 grams (1.76 Oz).
2 colors: light yellow (color 187) and grey (color 87). You can choose your style of the toy.
2 skins or the yellow color and 2 skins of the grey color.
◦ Hook 1.25 mm, choose the hook for yourself. Crocheting should be very, very tight.
◦ Filler holofiber.
◦ Flat pliers and cutters for wire and helping with sewing details and eyelids and mouth embroidery. Tweezers and wood sticks for stuffing.
◦ Black DMC floss threads for the mouth.
◦ Soft pastel for body and acrylic paints for the eyes painting, metallic acrylic.
◦ Acrylic varnish for use with soft pastel.
◦ Brushes for painting different sizes. Black permanent marker.
◦ Glass hemispheres for the eyes, diameter 12 mm. Or ready glass eyes with rounded pupils, gold, yellow or brown color.
◦ White polymer clay for making eyelids. You can take only white color and tint it or you can take second color suitable color with threads, you will need grey on example.
◦ And universal invisible glue, that not leave traces. I recommend Moment Crystal by Henkel.
◦ Steel wire frame 1,5 mm, floristic for example.
◦ And medical cotton tape for wrapping the frame.
◦ Needles for sewing eyelids and for the mouth embroidery.
◦ Silicone brush pen for sculpting and modeling.
◦ For desired use varnish for the clay. I use UV gel polish and UV lamp.
