Monk Socks
The Monk Socks are knit from the cuff down with a german short row heel. The pattern consists of a small lace section and several cables.
There are both charts and written instructions in the pdf, so you can choose whichever one you prefer.
Yarn: fingering weight sock yarn (425m/100g)
(Used for the ones in the example: Laines du Nord Watercolor sock in the color 103, but can be replaced with any yarn that meets the gauge)
Approx. amount: 50-80 g, depending on size and foot length
Gauge: 30 sts and 42 rows = 10x10cm /4x4“ in stockinette st
Needles: DPNS or a circular needle in 2.5mm
Sizes (measured at the widest foot circumference):
S: 17,5 cm, stretches to 20,5 cm (8 in) (56 sts)
M: 20 cm, stretches to 23 cm (9 in) (64 sts)
L: 23 cm, stretches to 26 cm (10.2 in) (72 sts)
The length of the foot and leg can be adjusted individually.
