Monkey - Michel and Robin
This is a pdf-file to make the monkey, not the monkey itself.
The pattern is available in ENGLISH, FRENCH, DUTCH, GERMAN and PORTUGUESE.
What do you need to make a monkey?
- Size C (2,5 mm / 2,75 mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch marker
- Fiberfill
- Three different colours of yarn
- Dark brown or black safety eyes (8mm)
Stitches used:
ch = chain
slst = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
When you make the monkey with cotton, he will be 15 cm high sitting. The total length of the monkey will be 24 cm.
For every monkey you will need three different colours of yarn. You can choose any type of yarn you like!
These monkeys were made with cotton from Phil Coton 3 and Schachenmayr Catania:
For monkey Robin (with the light green cap)
- dark brown: Phil Coton 3 nr. 65 (havane), around 60 grams
- light brown: Phil Coton 3 nr. 88 (seigle), around 20 grams
- light green for the cap: Phil Coton 3 nr. 87 (bambou), around 15 grams
For monkey Michel (with the dark green cap)
- brown: Phil Coton 3 nr. 80 (cappuccino), around 60 grams
- ecru: Phil Coton 3 nr. 32 (ecru), around 20 grams
- dark green for the cap: Schachenmayr Catania nr. 212 (kiwi), around 15 grams

You will receive a pdf-file of 10 pages in colour with a lot of step-by-step pictures to help you on your way.
