Monkey crochet pattern

This is mainly made in rounds, with some bits in rows.
This measures about 11cm tall and 6cm wide, when made with double knit yarn or about 15cm tall and 10cm wide, when made with aran yarn.
When I make this Monkey I use the Mocha and Parchment shades of Stylecraft yarn, but any two that go well together would work (Dark Brown and Camel also work well).

Materials

For the smaller size animal:
3.5 mm hook (US E hook)
Approx 15g dark double knit weight yarn
Approx 5g light double knit weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

For the larger size animal:
5 mm hook (US H hook)
Approx 30g dark aran weight yarn
Approx 10g light aran weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

Stitches needed:

• chain
• slip stitch
• single crochet / double crochet
• single crochet decrease / double crochet decrease
• single crochet increase / double crochet increase
• half double crochet / half treble crochet
• working in the back loop
