The monkey pictured was made using StyleCraft DK yarn and a 2.5mm hook, however you can use whatever yarn and whatever hook you like. The size of the monkey will differ, as will the amount of yarn that you will need.

I used around 1/5th of the white yarn, and a little over 1/2 of the body yarn for the monkey pictured.

Gauge is not important.

You will need:

• your chosen yarn
• crochet hook
• something to stuff your monkey with
• darning needle
• safety eyes, (or buttons, felt or yarn if you plan to hand stitch.)

I used three colours for the monkey pictured, (white, light brown, and dark brown for the cuffs and bottom of the feet,) but feel free to go with whatever colours you like, and as many as you like, you are the artist :)
