I can’t resist a baby knit and my friend was talking about how her baby was a little monkey and the idea for this hat was born.

It can be knitted in any DK yarn and the hat is knitted in the round to avoid any seams which could be uncomfortable for the baby. All the features are knitted separately and sewn on to the hat. 4mm dpns or circular needles are used for the at and 3mm needles are used for the features. the snout has a little stuffing behind it to make it 3D.
