This Monkey Cat Hat pattern is designed to fit an adult cat of average size. For extra fun, crochet a banana prop to go with your hat (one used in images is a free pattern from Ravelry).

The hat measures approx. 12.5cm at the widest bottom section and approx. 7cm between the ear spaces at the top. It will
have some stretch also. You can easily up-size or down-size by using larger or smaller hook sizes and different
thickness yarns.

This pattern assumes the crocheter can do basic crochet stitches

Materials:
• Crochet hook 4mm (for hat)
• Crochet hook 3mm (for ears)
• Yarn sewing needle (to attach ears to hat)
• Yarn
o Any brown cotton or acrylic 8 ply/light worsted yarn in a monkey appropriate colour
o Any light brown/tan cotton or acrylic 8 ply/light worsted yarn - for the inner ears
