Thank you so much for my first garment pattern release! This piece knits up surprisngly quickly on 5mm needles. It is reminiscent of vintage fashion pieces and named after the yarn that inspired it.
The Monna Cardigan is worked from the top down, starting at the neck and picking up sts along the back and shoulders. Stitches are kept on a stitch holder/waste yarn while the front is shaped on both sides before joining together. The button band is worked at the same time along the fronts. The cardigan is then knit down to the hem, with feminine detailing before ribbing. Set in sleeves are made top down with puff detailing and short rows. You can make either short or long sleeves, both finished with ribbed detailing.
