This pattern for a placemat is easily customizeable with any three initials. Cotton yarn makes it easy to wash making it the perfect, everyday, useful table decoration.

Because you can personalize these any way you choose, they are the perfect wedding gift or a great way to welcome a new baby into the family.

Note: This pattern is worked using two strand of yarn throughout carrying the second yarn along and crocheting over it. I chose to do the whole placemat that way so the thickness of the mat would be consistent. This means less ends to weave in and makes it easy to change colors when needed.
