Monotonous Loop Sweater is a chunky stockinette knit classic pullover, that has timeless design and oversized fit. It will keep you warm and cosy and is an absolute must have in every woman wardrobe.

It is fast and fun knitting pattern with clear and detailed directions for an intermediate or experienced knitter. The knitting pattern has also a lot of supporting videos for all the knitting techniques used in this project.

The sweater is worked from bottom upwards in separate pieces: front and back and 2 sleeves. Then the parts are sewn together along the sides using mattress stitch. The shoulder seams are sewn with horizontal stockinette seam. Sleeve cuffs and neckline are framed with 1x1 ribbing.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

Yarn: Filcolana Peruvian Highland Wool 50g/100m (109 yds) 10, 10, 10-11, 11, 12, 12-13 skeins held together with Kid Silk Haze by Rowan 25g/ 210m (230 yds), or any other Silk Mohair with the same yardage - 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7 skeins

Note: you can choose another wool yarn brand. It could be any worsted or aran weight yarn that allows you to obtain the correct gauge.

● A pair of 4.5mm (US 7) circular needles. The front and back part could be worked on straight needles also.
● A pair of 3.0mm (US 2.5) straight needles or circular needles 80cm (32”) and circular needles 40cm (16”) for neck finishing. You don’t need shorter circular needles if you use Magic Loop technique.
● Tapestry needle
● 1 stitch holder or about 50cm of waste yarn (20”)
● Some stitch markers
● Measuring tape
● Scissors

GAUGE (TENSION) approximate:

18sts and 24rows = 10x10cm (4x4”) in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking.
