Monro Cardigan Knitting Pattern.
This is a PFD pattern, not a finished item.
Designed with a little bit of positive ease, straight silhouette, slightly dropped shoulder, round neck, and button band.

Cardigan is worked bottom-up in one piece to underarms, then divided in 3 pieces: back, right front, and left front worked separately back and forth in rows and sewn together at shoulders. Sleeves are worked top-down starting from the armholes.

Skill level: advanced. Basic knitting skills and skills to read charts required!

Sized for S-M (M-L) to fit bust approx 33-36(37-39)in/84-92(94 -100)cm

Original yarn:
6.5-7(7-8)balls of LanaGatto Silk Mohair Lux0.88oz(25g) each approx 230yds(210m)
Suggested substitute: any lace weight yarn matching original yarn proportions
Needles:
circular needle size 8 (5mm) for the body, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE;
circular needle size 6 (4mm) for cuffs, neckband, and edging.

Buttons approx 15mm in diameter 7 -10pcs (depends on the desired length)

Gauge:
15 sts and 22 rows =4in(10cm) over Stockinette stitch worked double-stranded using size 8 (5mm) needles.
