Keep your little (or big) monster’s head warm with …a little monster
The pattern gives instructions to make hats from toddler to adult sizes and will look super in any colour. My kids absolutely love those monster hats, and my testers have made some in different colour ways… Purple seems to be very popular. They would look awesome for Halloween too.

The hat is made with worsted acrylic yarn and is written in US crochet terms.

You will need to know the following stitches:
ch : Chain, sc: single crochet, hdc: half double crochet, dc: double crochet, dc2tog: crochet 2 dc together for decrease
sl st: slip stitch, flo: front loop only - blo: back loop only and magic ring

You will also require
G/6 Hook (4mm UK)
– Around 200 yds of acrylic medium weight yarn.Worsted / Double knitting. for the hat
plus small amounts of black, white, grey,and brown and matching colour for the eye.
– Around 50 yds of wool yarn for the crazy hair
plus usual scissors, measuring tape, and tapestry needle
