This is a pattern for a small monster hat that fits on a cat’s head, between their ears, and ties under their chin.

I used Red Heart Super Saver solids mixed with Lion Brand Fun Fur in the same color. You crochet the hat with both of them at the same time to get the look of a furry hat.

You do not need very much yarn at all, cat’s have tiny heads!
