A trio of cowls which were designed for Monster High but would fit most small dolls including Blythe, Barbie and Sindy.

One is cabled, one is ribbed and one has a stranded colourwork heart which is knitted from a chart. The yardage used is very small, I used leftover scraps.

These cowls are all worked flat and can be fastened with buttons, ribbons, press studs or crochet chain ties to allow them to be worn by dolls with large heads. They could also be sewn up the back to make a true cowl for small headed dolls.

The pink one turned out to look good from both sides so it’s reversable.
