This pattern was inspired by my daughters love of the monsters inc movies.

To complete this pattern, you will need:
Crochet hook I
Crochet hook H
Red Heart Super Saver, spring green, aqua, white, black (less than a skein each)
Yarn needle
White felt, pink felt, scissors
Fabric adhesive
12mm black toy eye
Fiberfill stuffing, small amount

chain
fasten off
single crochet
half double crochet
slip stitch
increasing
decreasing

If you are making this backpack for a child younger than 3 years old, I recommend embroidering or crocheting the eyes.

This backpack is a lot of fun to make and will be great gift for your child or grandchild.
