-Yarn: You are welcome to use any brand of yarn but if you’d like your pouf to turn out the same as mine, please be sure to check your gauge first! - This pouf can be made 3 ways (For both boy & girl versions). For the main color you can use 1 strand of Bernat Blanket yarn (super bulky- 660 yards), 2 strands of any worsted weight (cat. 4) yarn (1600 yards), or 1 strand of worsted weight yarn (1000 yards) held together with a strand of fun fur (eyelash yarn-640 yards). You will also need small amounts of worsted weight in the various colors you want to use on the monster’s face.
- For girl I used Bernat Blanket Brights and you will need 3 balls of main color.
- For boy I used Fun Fur Yarn and you will need 10 balls of main color. In Red Heart Super Saver Yarn you will need 3 balls of main color.
- For both you will need less than 1 ball of white and black.
-Polyester fiberfill & tapestry needle with large eye (There are many different things you can use to stuff your pouf besides fiberfil. Some suggestions are pillows, old towels, blankets, sheets, clothes, foam pieces or plastic bags.)
-Pins to hold pieces in place before sewing.
