The Shark Monster Pouch is perfect for using up scrap yarn. You only need a small bit of black for the fin tips, and a small bit for the fins.

The pattern is crocheted in the back loop only. Crocheting in the back loop makes it much easier to attach the fins.

I used a 7” zipper and cut it down to fit better in the mouth. If you don’t know how to cut a zipper to fit, check the instructions that come with the zipper itself.

The Shark Monster Pouch can also double as a toy! Stuff with fiberfil and zip shut - instant toy. :)

Gauge, and even hook size, isn’t important in this pattern. It’s really about what size pouch you want. I used an H-hook.

Materials needed:

Red Heart Super Saver yarn in the colour of your choice and a bit of black.

14 mm safety eyes, or buttons

7” zipper
