Materials and tools

• yarn in yellow, blue and black colors for the monster – I used less than 50 g of each;
• small amount of grey color yarn for the spectacles;
• brown color yarn for the bear – I used less than 20 g;
• small amount of red color yarn for the bear’s tongue;
• matching crochet hook;
• two black half beads for the pupils of the eyes (I used 8 mm in diameter) and a piece of white felt for the whites of the eyes;
• wire for the arms and legs - the diameter and quantity depends on the size of your toy. I used approximately 50 cm (19.7 inches) of wire 0.7 mm in diameter (optional)
• two small buttons for the bear’s eyes – I used 5 mm in diameter;
• ready-made nose for the bear (you can use embroider it instead);
• transparent glue;
• a piece of plastic (plastic canvas or plastic lid) or thick cardboard for the insoles;
• stuffing;
• sewing pins;
• tapestry needle.

Measurements:
For the monster: I used “Jeans” by YarnArt (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50g/160m) and 1.75 mm crochet hook. The toy is 11 cm (4.3 inches) tall
For the bear: I used “Angora” by RAM (40% mohair, 60% acrylic, 100g/500m) and 1.75 mm crochet hook. The toy is 5.5 cm (2.2 inches) tall.
