The Montebello Beanie is a warm chunky knit hat pattern with a more traditional beanie design and beautiful stitch texture. It is a pattern that is quick to knit up and is fun to make with easy multiple round repeats.

This pattern requires one ball of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick or equivalent (1 ball of we are knitters - The Wool can be used with this pattern as well), and uses US15 (10mm), 16” circular knitting needles to make the beanie. Stitches that you need to know how to do for this pattern are Knit (K), Purl (P), how to slip your stitches and how to do decreasing knit stitches. The pattern is suitable for advanced beginner/intermediate skill level.

Detailed notes are provided within the pattern instructions on how to adjust sizing for age, personalized fit and for using different yarn. Instructions are also given within the pattern on how to make a two toned version of the beanie.
