Monterosso is a beautiful bandana cowl knit from the neck down. Featuring a blend of elegant stitches, this pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

SIZING
One Size:

• Neck circumference: 22” {56 cm}.
• Length along the front: 20” {51 cm}.

YARN
Sport (#2):
375-400 yards {343-366 meters}.
Note: My samples used less yardage (see below), but during testing all but one tester used between 375-400yds.

• Sample 1 used: 355 yards {325 meters} of Phildar Ecocoton (100% Cotton - 120 yards {110 m}/ 50g) in the colorway Aubergine.
• Sample 2 used: 325 yards {297 meters} of Lion Brand Truboo (100% Bamboo - 241 yards {220 m}/ 100g) in the colorway Tan. This sample used DK weight yarn instead of sport, and measured approximately 23” {58.5 cm} neck circumference and 18” {45.5 cm} long at the front.

NEEDLES
US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles up to 24” {60 cm} in length.
Or size needed to match gauge.
Note: Half of my testers met gauge with a US 5, and the other half needed a US 6 (4 mm).

GAUGE
Wavy Rib (worked in the round)
20.5 sts / 31.5 rounds = 4” {10 cm}
