Use this crochet pattern to make a simple crochet slouch hat with incredible texture and random striping using the moss stitch! This hat pattern is written to fit an average adult.

This pattern is a beginner level crochet pattern. The abbreviations used in this pattern include: ch, sl st, BLO, SC and SC2Tog

This pattern requires approx. 135 yds. of Yarnspirations Caron x Pantone yarn (’Moody Pumpkins’ colorway pictured). If you substitute a different yarn please check your gauge to make sure the hat will fit. You will also need a 6.0mm crochet hook and an optional large pom pom maker.
