This pattern is easy to knit up and provides flexibility in design and size.

The skill level is beginner as the only stitches used are knits and purls. It does take some concentration when doing the charts to ensure you are following the rows for each motif accurately. The border is knit as you go along so there’s no need to pick up stitches.

Yarn for 12 Square Blanket: 3 1/2 balls of 3.5 oz (100 grams)
Yarn for 6 Square Blanket: 2 balls of 3.5 oz (100 grams)
Double knitting yarn; US 6 (4 mm) 24” or longer circular needle; stitch markers; tapestry needle to sew in loose ends.

Finished Measurements 3 blocks Wide and 4 Blocks High: 27 inches (68.5 cm) X 34 inches (86 cm)
2 Blocks Wide and 3 Blocks High: 18 1/2 inches (47 cm) x 25 inches (63.5 cm)
