Moon Landing
This little astronaut has taken a giant leap onto a moon base. You can make this as a decorative piece, or even add a weight such as dried rice inside the moon to make a paperweight for your desk. This would make a super thank you gift for a science teacher.
Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, this toy is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The astronaut’s collar is a single crochet chain worked on the crochet hook.
NEEDLES
A pair of 3.25mm single pointed knitting needles (US 3)
RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than a 100g/280m skein in each colour.
